Detective Dan Loder

Clearwater Police Department

    Detective Daniel Loder has a total of nearly 20 years of law enforcement experience between several police agencies. Detective Loder is originally from the state of New Jersey but begin his police career in Georgia working for the state of Georgia for the Atlanta Police Department,  He then transitioned to Maryland working for the Baltimore City Police Department, but finally making a long-term home in Florida working at the Clearwater Police Department in Pinellas County.

    He has served in different uniform capacities to include Field Training Officer and in the Street Crimes Unit. He was selected as a detective in 2016 and was first assigned to the Economic Crimes Unit. He continued to develop as an investigator and then was reassigned to the Homicide Unit where he currently is a detective.
