The National Homicide Investigators Association (NHIA) was originally founded in 1988 in Pinellas County, Florida and formerly known as the Florida Homicide Investigators Association. Our mission is to provide investigative support, training, and networking opportunities to homicide investigators, prosecutors, forensic technicians, federal agents, military police and death investigation professionals throughout the North American continent. The cornerstone of our Association is our low cost, affordable annual training conference related to homicide case management and operational strategy as well as the latest advancements in forensic science and laboratory technologies.
